Soccer fans around here?

I'm a football(soccer)fan, my hometown(SC Heerenveen) plays tonight against CSK Moscow(Russia are u kidding) in our stadium, this is the UEFA Cup.
About 9 months ago 'we' played against Vfb Stuttgart(home of Benz and Porsche) and we won 1 to 0. Great innit?

I'm a big fan of Manchester United, Celtic and Barcelona is great as well.

I think the other Europeans will certainly reply

mm i LOVE SOCCER! well not really... but ive played it all my life so i guess i'm inclined to like it. ;] I'm a sweeper and our season is JUST starting.

Nice! My ex gf played soccer too. I did too but not anymore, I'm getting too old for that

Last friday we visited the Amsterdam Arena for a Ajax vs my hometown match, great atmosphere(many many scandinavians and UKers there) but a dull match....

Older than you are, but not an old fart. I don't think Redondo and Caniggia are grandpas like Maradona though, they both just retired fairly recently.

World Cup '94 is still like yesterday to me... If that coach had used Redondo and Caniggia, Argentina would have made it to the final, at least.

Lots of police around here because of agressive supporters yesterday
