San Diego Apartment Recommendations
For those that live in or have lived in San Diego, can anyone help w/ some recommendations for apartments? I'm trying to help someone close to me that took a job in Rancho Bernardo and just moved to SD. Preference would be in the Rancho Bernardo area (e.g. Poway, Escondido, etc...). Unfortunately, limited by a 1.3k ceiling as far as monthly rent goes.
Ideal features list would include: 1. Something in a decent, good area since they'll be living alone. 2. Garage parking. 3. In-unit washer & dryer. 4. Nearby shopping for necessities (e.g. groceries). "Nearby" constitutes, say, 10-15min drive. 4. $1.3k/mo max That aside, what areas should one stay away from? Any particular apartments complexes or management companies to stay away from? TIA
