Is anyone running 8mm spacers with or without hub extenders? For anyone running spacer without hub extenders i.e. lug centric, do you experience any vibration?

I bought 8mm spacers for all 4 wheels and I am planning to buy hub extenders for the fronts (since I can only find them for the front) which means I will need to run the rears without them at least until they are made available. I don't like the thought of going the lug centric route, so I am considering going up to a 10mm hub centric rear spacer instead, which probably I will need to roll my fenders.

Check fleabay, there is a company machining 5,7,8mm spacers WITH hubcentric lip. I'm not sure how this is possible so I emailed them. I hope to hear back on Monday.

In the mean time, I test fitted a bunch this weekend. They are no for sale or trade in my sig.

I would not risk buying a hubcentric spacer that small off fleabay. There is a reason why nobody makes spacers that thin hubcentric.

I am sending the 8mm for the rear back, going with a with a hubcentric 10mm spacer, then installing hub extenders for the front so I can run the 8mm spacer hubcentric.

BTW, I gave VAC's spacers a shot this go around (4 8mm spacers), they are machined in-house and works of art.

How much do you want for the 8mm spacers and bolts?

Why would you need hub extenders? I checked out VAC site and saw them. Not sure how the wheel cannot be centered when all five bolts are installed? Do you think it will knock down vibration at high speed? I hate spacers and removed them from other cars because of the shake at high speeds (H&R hubcentric).

I took your advice on Velocity, unfortunately they are still too wide.

The 8mm spacers are brand new (uninstalled), I am returning 1 set and exhanging for 10mm hubcentric spacers. The other set I am installing on the front after I pick up the hub extender. I would sell the one set I am returning but it will would be retail price which not make much sense for you. When I bought them I thought they were hubcentric, not the case, so back they go for 10mm hubcentic spacers - VAC doesn't make a hubextender for the rear which is why I am going up to 10mm so I can get a hubcentric spacer.

I am buying their hubextender for the front so that I can run the 8mm spacers hubcentric which will prevent any chances I will have a vibration problem. All spacers under 10mm are not hubcentric, which means if you install them they will be lugcentric which in a nut-shell means you might have vibration problems. I have been running 5mm spacers in a lugcentric fashion without much of an issue although I feel a slight vibration, not sure if it's from the spacers or not.

What are to wide with the Velocity spacers? Did you install them and the wheels ended up rubbing?

I had about 15mm of gap using the measurement method with flat edge and tape measure. I tried 10, 12 and 15. They all caused rubbing when I had a passenger and hit a large dip in the road (there is one I drive by every day to work).

I only need 3mm to clear my rear bbk. I wanted a little more to push the wheels out. I too am worried about the vibration. I only need the spacers for my rear wheels.

What do you think - go with VAC or get a 5mm lug centric?

I have 1 set of 3's that I am selling, they have about 500 miles on them. I will also have 2 sets of 5mm spacers that have about 250 miles on them

I caved I am going to roll the inside of my rear fenders to make the rear 10mm spacers work. There's a guy in my neck of the woods that does it on the side at a reasonable price so I said, "what the hell." Will be running an et25 rear offset.
