Cruise Speed Indication vs Speedometer
Another item I have noticed after a little more time in the car. When I set the cruise control at a given speed the little bar moves up about 3 - 4 miles an hour ABOVE where the speedometer is registering and stays there unless I change the speed setting. Regardless of where it is it is always OVER the actual speed ?
Anyone seeing this ?? Could it be related to the thread on Speedometer Accuracy ???

My needle and digital read-out agree with each other. On the other hand, neither agrees with my GPS.

Don't really care too much if it compares with the GPS (my wife's Lexus does not either), but I do think the indicators should match and align with each other !! Back to the dealership !!

Has been discussed before. It's normal and there is some variation from car to car. Some cars, it's much worse than just a couple mph. FWIW, my cruise indication is about 1 mph higher than the speedo.
