Exhaust back to stock help

So to install the Remus mufflers i had to cut the pipe obviously. Now i'm going back to stock. Should i have the stock exhaust welded back on or should I just buy 2 strap band clamps and fiberglass like this;

do it right, no band clamps. weld it, no leaks. need some mufflers lol??

naa lol, its one of the stock part i actually held on to.
