Has anyone tuned an xdrive or xi coupe w non staggered tires?

Hello, I apologize if this post is redundant. Has anyone tuned a stock 335 xi or xdrive coupe with the sport package with non staggered (4) 225 or 8in wide tires? I have a 2010 335i xdrive coupe with the sport package but not the 18" wheel upgrade so I have non staggered 4 x 8" wide tires (225's) on the car. I know this is not ideal, but can the car handle a vishnu proceed tune?

I run 4x 225 wide tires in the winter (winter tires), and even with full power (tune + meth), when its dry you won't loose traction with xdrive, well... in 3rd gear and up Don't worry about that you'll be alright! 1st and second gear will become brutal, but even with staggered summer setup...

This is a good thread. I run 4x 225 tires. I'm pondering getting 235 on all 4 corners, but I don't know how good that would be. I'd basically like more grip, because the xdrive suspension (despite the haters out there) actually handles quite nicely, even if it is up a little high. It's a beast on dirt roads.

I'm running v5 on stock style 188's 225 all around (for now).. In the dry its "fine" but could def benefit from some more grip.. I want to run 255's all around eventually... But to be honest.. unless you're launching.. or in less than ideal weather.. it's perfectly fine

Hey I am FBO PROCeed Stage 3 Map 1 and I ran 4x 225 all winter without much issues. And yes I am not an xi. Just figured if my 335i is fine, and xi will be fine. I do have an LSD too. If I drive very aggressive, its perfectly fine as long as I don't floor it in which case I will loose traction and lay a nice black patch on the road. But why waste the soft compound winter Blizzarks on that right?

You will be fine don't worry about it. Oh BTW I have the 225/35/18 mounted on my stock staggered ZSP rims. No issue except the rears on the larger 18.5 inch rims look a bit funny and bloated.

And lol... how is that launch? I'm assuming 1st and 2nd gears are interesting? I have driven a friends 2011 with the proceed and other minimal mods like intake and exhaust, but he had the staggered set up with 255's on the rear.
I Just bought the car, and yes some day will upgrade the wheel and tires to a larger size... but I don't want to spend $$$ on tires and wheels quite yet. But for the immediate future the price of a Vishnu Proceed seems quite reasonable. I am just wondering how squirrelly the car will be with style 188 packing 4 x 225's. I am assuming the Xdrive will maybe somewhat mitigate the small tires

I run 4 X 225 studded tires on oem wheels from a e90 sport pack for winter, it runs fine. Car is a beast on snow/ice with studded tires, its insane.
