Car Wont Start (325i e90)
I was driving my car today and was having no problems. Starting and running fine. I made about three stops each less then an hour and had no problems starting the car. After another ~30 min stop came out got in the car and went to start it and it just cranked for as long as I held the start button down, and didn't even attempt to start. The Car gave me various error codes, transmission (gear), car on lift, DCS. Had to have the car towed to the nearest dealership (Erhard of Bloomfield Hills) where it is waiting to be looked at on monday. Funny thing is just got it back from the dealer ship (four days ago) for routine maintenance, (brake fluid exchange, oil change, new air filter) + They also replaced the passenger seat occupancy detection mat, AND reprogramed the car. No problems with starting prior to this for the last 8 months. Any Ideas? Thanks.
(found out it was a low battery, AAA guy refused to try jumping it, Called AAA, and they reimbursed the $130 diagnostic fee at Erahard) Last edited by 9352e90; 04-28-2012 at 11:31 PM.. |
