[i own an e90]

words on the streets that muffler deletes on a n52 sounds really good...anybody in here have this done ?? if so, id like to hear on a n52 ..i dont have a quad exhaust...so id like to hear it on a single ...=)

dude we've been over this, DONT DO IT!!! it gets old after a month..and the rattling and drone is not worth it in the long run..

i did it last summer.. i still love it. i think it sounds amazing. i can take a vid tomorrow or maybe tonight, but it is definitely AMAZING. i spent about 120 bones total.

everybody talks about drone at highway speeds, but i don't hear much.

and there's no way it gets old. to this day, i'll drive around in 2nd gear when i'm downtown, or rev it non-stop when i'm pulling up to a red light.

i promise you would not regret it.

Everyone has a different preference and tolerance level. I personally don't mind a loud car, but consider what sounds good and what doesn't. There's no refined tune emitted by a muffler delete, IMO.

Kinda want to get an electronic cutout before my muffler lol. Wonder how much that would put me back..

i have heard muffler deletes on dual exhaust..and i didnt like the sound of it .....but i heard for a single n52 it sounds really nice...can't judge on it cuz i haven't heard it on a n52 single exhaust....

so if anyone in jersey willing to meet up so i can hear there's hit me up...

It's definitely a nicer and deeper growl than the engine-only noise prior to the delete. I was debating this for a while back then but decided against it.

Unfortunately for me, I slept on this offer and the member has been banned since. I would've loved to own this exhaust.

ehh..personal preference, idk i've never had an auto-i imagine the drone is even worse. had it on my last e92 and it sounded so obnoxious, but YMMV.

ive heard it and thought it was too loud, I converted to dual exhaust using a magnaflow muffler and find it to be a good balance. Nice growl when the car starts up and the drone isnt so bad on the highways.

not sure, i know the n54 does but not sure if theres a popback on the n52, i think its related to the backpressure dont quote me on that lol

thinking about doing the same thing. i think the muffler delete + resonator delete will sound a lot better.
