Would this be better than the waterpump on the n54, or just the same replacement? Isn't the n55 or 1M waterpump stronger/more reliable? I am at 38k and am starting to worry about random failure.

These are the Genuine BMW replacements - which include BMW's 2 year/unlimited warranty valid at US BMW dealerships. (just hold onto your invoice)

Am getting the dreaded Thermostat mechanics fault code ... and now Waterpump code. So, time to bite the bullet and order up the kit.

The waterpump has superseded to new part # 11517632426, $390.64 with our current online discount (as of 10/3/2013). The 3 required screws are 11517602123, $0.97 ea.
