E92 335 Lease MF jacked up?
Dealers in my area are quoting a MF of .0024 for a 335 coupe if I don't put down any security deposits. I asked about the .00185 rate that I've seen on forums and on BMW's site, and they said they use that for returning BMW customers.
So the dealers are allowed to raise the MF set by BMWFS? Is this whole thing screwed up? Anyone in Socal area find a better rate? Should I throw down some security deposits to lower the MF? But don't put cash down right? |

Yeah, the dealers are allowed to markup the BMWFS mf's by .0004 max. Looks like they got you for the max markup and if you don't put down the security deposit, it also goes up by .00015. so it seems like it works out to .00185 + .0004 (markup) + .00015 (sec. dep. waiver) = .0024. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong. ![]() ![]() |
