Chrome wrapped trim

Is it easier to remove the trim first or leave it on the car to install some vinyl wrap? Thinking about getting a matte black grille, matte black vinyl wrap, and matte black "335d" emblem for my deep sea blue d.

Thanks for any advice.

Leave it on the car when wrapping.

Get the badge from bimmian.com, it's like 20$. Much better than a plastidip solution.
