Brake light after lsd install/alignment
I just had a Quaife LSD installed yesterday, and along with it I had them do alignment on all wheels. They said the rear camber was pretty bad, so they got it all adjusted properly.
Driving home was fine, no lights of any kind. I park it for the night and that was it. I go to take it out tonight and the brake light is on. I thought "oh great, here we go again." I double checked the e-brake, it was down. I pulled it and released it just to see if it would reset it - no luck. Then I go into the service menu and it's reading "------ mls" for both front and rear brakes. Now, I've never been in this menu, so I don't know how many miles were left, meaning if this is just a ridiculous coincidence, or if it always read this. Also, I don't know if it typically reads just dashes for no miles, or if it should said "0 mls" when it needs changed. I'm trying to determine if this is related to the LSD install, alignment or just pure bad luck that the sensors are bad or the brakes really need replaced.

Just bad luck. I have had this happen twice over the past year or two. The computer has to be reset. I was able to change the mileage with the bt tool. The first time it was on a road trip and th dealer reflashed the module. Sux I know.

I don't see how it's related to the LSD install. Congrats on the upgrade - you sir have good taste.
I had the red BRAKE light on my dash for a while until I went to the dealer and got the sensors replaced. They had to update something in the car to do that which took several hours. Loop off those brake sensors and visually inspect the brake pads yourself every once in a while.

So I ended up resetting the warning using the stalk/bc controls. The sensors are fine - it came back up as 47k on the front, 90k on the rear. It only has 40k on the odometer, so I don't know what triggered it. I'll be getting some upgraded rotors and pads, soon, though.
