Mods to run 11's

heading to the local 1/4 mile strip in about a month.. curious to know what i will need to run in the 11's. I know driver and traction are the most important but what other than 70/30 91/E85 dci, JB4 tune, and dps are needed. Im thinking ww meth kit or would i be better running the JB4 no meth with race gas map 7. most of the cars ill be going down there will probably be much faster than i ('12 GT 500 stock, '12 CTS-V stock, '87 Grand National 11.09 car, and 2007 C6 Corvette) im sure we will do some roll ons on the way down, i just wanna hold my own.

My car runs great now but i think im gonna need more..

You need meth and some proper rubber for that. Fill your tank with race gas and have fun.

FMIC, meth, full exhaust, jb4, DP....and of course the right launch and tires..should be 11s easily with those mods

i think tires, tune, meth should do the job. with some e85 or racegas. aggressive tune for the racegas also cheapest way possible.

Me personally am going to the track tomorrow for the second time I have had this toy. Im FBO JB4 custom map 6 with E85/93 blend (small amount maybe 20%). I was running very low 12's on street tires with good launches. I go me a set of drag radials and I think that should do it. The quarter mile with these cars will probably shave 1/2 a second with real slicks. I just found some factory 17" wheels that I put the slicks on. Looks really shitty but Im going to just swap them when I get to the track from my 19's. Even going from 19's to 17's is a HUGE difference so I will be able to let you know tomorrow evening lol. Im not a big quarter mile fan myself but I just want to be in the 11's myself and probably wont be drag racing it anytime soon after that.

Tune, Intake, Downpipe
Meth with race gas
LSD and drag radials

335xi + JB4 + Race Gas

Ran an 11.969 in that trim, not typical though it would seem

I would run meth though and remove the seats, 11s should be in the bag with slicks on JB4 or Procede with race gas and high boost.

I ran a gt500 super snake at the track and smoked him bad but he was on street tires and I had slicks...he came up to me after to see why I was faster. I haven't run a new cts-v yet but I have seen them running around 12.8 on street tires in stock form, with a pulley and a tune I have seen them run low 12's high 11's.

Yeah I know. My point was that it is very, very difficult to get into 11s with a MT and much easier to do with the AT. It's a traction issue. The ATs are idiot proof for launching while the MT is a nightmare.
