I like the front - not so sure about the rear bumper

Boot spoiler

I've just fitted the Aero lip and I'm happy with that. Think I'll get the M-sport side skirts and leave the stock bumper (with some trimming for quads)

Should look something like this -

Does this mean they will shortly offer the M-sport kitted E92 / 93 as a factory model for the Australian line-up ?? I'd say it will happen in the next couple of months.

They will probably wait till demand falls off a bit (the convertibles are pre sold until February 2008) and then bring out an M-sport option to stimulate sales. This option is already available in the UK and other european countries.

What puts me off is that they are stick on skirts - not full replacement bumpers (other than M-sport) and that seems a bit half baked IMO.

I agree. It'll be used as a marketing tool to combat the new Audi A5/S5, which will be launched in various configurations from October to next August I think. Also the new MB C-class will sprout a coupe in the near future.

This M-kit they are offering is the exact same as the M-sports exterior but its missing the interior bits like steering and M logo badges and side step panels, under door. So i am expecting to see the full M-sports kit as an official option probably in August as thomaslo said to counter Audi A5/S5.

Thanks for the info Chris! Wonder how much installation will be? Can't work out why they have the kit available and then say you need these extras "as listed below". Why not have an all inclusive price??!!!!

Pleasure danielt To answer your question, the m-kit available atm is purchased and ordered from the dealerships accessories department and unfortunately since you have a standard 335(non sport body) they will charge you the installation + spraying. It really is a rip-off in the end and its the way dealership accessories dep work. I agree we should be given a set price(including installation costs etc) for the after market OEM products.

Surely a good local exhaust shop can do that for you. Rob Bliss Exhaust in Brisbane is very good with european cars.

Do you need the rear trim panel to fit these exhausts or just the original bumper and a hacksaw?

Cheers.

A good exhaust shop will cut the opening required cleanly. Don't need to go to any extra expense.
