noise in cabin on Esiemann Race exo
Gidday folks, I have this 'droning' noise in my cabin after I install the Esiemann Race exo, are there any other solutions to cut off this 'droning noise' effect? Its not very pleasing to the ears.
Happens when I start at 2 rpm onwards, and the noise will be done should I rev to 3.5 rpm, or when I let go accelerator. |

If you install some Vibrant 1792 Resonators in your mid-pipes, that should cut out some of the drone.

Resonators do not help at all with drone, only with rasp.
If you want no-drone, sell the exhaust and install a BMW Performance Exhaust, it's the only one 100% designed to be drone-free. |

That's what the Eisenmann race exhaust is supposed to do past 2K and up, make NOISE!!! What's their motto, driven by sound. You could've bought the sport version, less quieter than race still louder than stock.

1 or 2 tennis balls work just as well.

I have Eisenmann Race with catless downpipes... Its literally 20x worse.
Not much you can do aside from adding resonators (mixed results, generally little to no help with drone). BUMP for others to chime in with suggestions so I can try them too

You're my hero. The guy with the two tennis ball idea. Going to try it when I get back from vacation. It's the most annoying rattling noise and I could not figure it out.
Thanks!!
