Angel Eyes Help

I recently replaced my H8 bulbs with 8500K to get ride of the stock OEM yellow halogens that came with the vehicle but there is a problem with that as the outer ring seems to be yellow still even when the turn signals are off. I have seen pictures when other cars replace the H8 bulbs with 7500K or 8500K and had both of their rings white. Of course my next option is to upgrade to LEDs but is it because the halogen bulb is not strong enough to make the outer rings white as well? Is there anything else that is powering the outer rings to make it yellow? I am posting both pictures of daytime and nighttime so you can see that it did not really change the outer rings with the H8 bulb replacement. Will an LED H8 replacement correct this make the outer rings brighter and more noticeable in the daytime?

Thanks.

This is during the daytime:

This is taken during the nighttime:

Fairly certain it's the nature of halogen bulbs. I have the same effect in a way with my 7500k gpthunder fogs.

I would say LED would fix it, but I am not 100% sure

+1. I see, I would assume that it is also the nature of the halogen bulbs. Thanks for verifying that it isn't just me. I think in this case I would have to upgrade to LEDs. I just found out from another thread that even regular LEDs or not just any kind of LEDs will give it an even brightness distribution across all rings, but you would have to get the LUX or the MTECH ones. I think I am going to go with one of them soon. Thanks again.

No problem. When it comes to the angel eye upgrades, it looks as if LED is the best for our applications. It will also produce less heat.

Its hard to see from those pictures since they are zoomed in so much. With our LUX H8 V3 angel eyes they are quite bright and they also help to keep the inner and outer rings almost the exact same brightness, which you will not find from a stock halogen bulb.

Would the LUX be bright enough where you will still be able to see the angel eyes in daylight? Which one would be brighter, the LUX or the MTECH?

It is because the far away picture is a blur. I'll retake the picture and re-post, hold your horses. Its just a picture to get my point across. Yellow on the outside and not as bright as the inside ring.
