Angel Eye Idea
Hey guys,
Today on my drive home, I saw an Audi A4 with the DRL running LED's, turn into a blinker when the turn signal was clicked on. I thought this was pretty neat, so I am just formulating in my head an idea that I would like to share with you all. Is it possible through hardwiring or coding, to make the angel eye daytime running lights flash as a turn signal? My idea is to keep the AE's running at full brightness, and when the turn signal is put on, one angel eye dims, while the other flashes at full brightness. Thanks guys! Hopefully we can get some experts on this if it's possible |

The Audi I saw today had the same LED DRL strip shut off, then flash orange in the same area, not a seperate bulb. Obviously we can't do this, hence the dimming idea.

you can do anything you want with the right wiring setup... my idea was kind of like how Mustang has their tails flash the turn signal in sequence... for our cars, you could have the angel eyes flash in sequence as a turn signal. Again, i'm sure it can be done, it's about is it really worth it to you.

For North America, yes. It can and has been changed with coding.

I don't like how the audis shut off their beautiful DRL on one side of the car for the signaling and then it comes back on after the turn.
Looks goofy to me, I wouldn't try to do it with the angels. |

I know the A8 use the DRLs for signals but was not aware of the A4s doing this.
