E92 Short throw shift kit

Are there really no short throw shift kits for the e92 xi models? Any of you guys have any insight on this? Thanks in advance

I believe you can use parts from the 330i,xi SSK.

Yes u could. Have BMW 330i performance ssk on my xi. Love it. Also had UUC ssk and found it too rough and missed gears often. There's a DIY thread about this. Google it

I have the UUC Evo 3 SSK on my e92 335xi. It is a very noticeable improvement if you like the tight, notchy shifting. I drove a stock 335xi the other day and really felt the difference. Makes the stock shifter feel loose and long. The SSK combined with removing the CDV and its a whole different feel. Just to warn you the SSK is a bit of a pain to install. I took a bunch of pictures when i installed mine if you are interested. Good luck

There is a DIY for SSK on an xi. It's a very simple install that doesn't require you to access anything from underneath the car. The only question is do we go with the ssk from the 330i or the one from the 328i. The question hasn't been clearly answered so I haven't ordered. Can anyone chime in?

If your referring to the UUC SSK they actually have a 335xi specific one.

U can order either the 330 or 328 one. They both work. The only diff is that the 330 one is about 1/4inch shorter in height. I have the 330i one.

It says it's for both the 328 and 335xi although i'm not 100% sure
