DIY: DD (Duke Dynamics) Fitment Fix!!
Alright guys. We all know and heard that DD quad diffuser have one of the most crappy fitment, due to the left side never sits flush and sticks out. This is because the tab to lock into the msport bumper is way too short. Well a little tape fixed the job. The tape is the same tape as what is used to install aftermarket spoiler, roof spoiler, and front aero lip.
*Well this only solved the problem on the left side where the diffuser doesnt clip in. The right inner dual exhaust tip still is hitting the diffuser* Before pic. The left side sticks out creating a big gap and does not clip in. ![]() *Here is the before pics from fellow members with DD diffuser fitment problem* http://www.e90post.com/forums/showth...ffuser+fitment http://www.e90post.com/forums/showth...ffuser+fitment http://www.e90post.com/forums/showth...ffuser+fitment What you need: Alcohol and Q-tip 3m 5lbs tape ![]() Instructions: 1) Clean the dirt off surface. 2) Tape on the edges where the diffusser sits and locks into. 3) Carefully push and align the clips. 4) Push hard and hold. Make sure the sits ontop of the tape. 5) Securely tighten the screws to the diffuser underneath the bumper. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()
