Search it makes everyones life easier!
But in most cases it will last for a pretty good time. As long as you don't take a pressure washer to it at close range you'll be good. Or you can just vinyl wrap/paint it and you'll never have to worry about it. |

I tried it yesterday, even though it came out really well, wasn't a fan of the roughness or the real matted out look. Go with Vinyl FTW!

Is it worth it? It's $6 lol. If it lasted 6 months out of it, it is worth it. But people have had it for over a year with no problems

I've owned my car for almost 2yrs and it came w/sprayed window trim. About 3 weeks ago I decided to re-spray the trim. Had no problems removing 2+yr old spray and it did not mess up the original finish on the trim. As for texture, it's not rough, but it's not as smooth as vinyl/paint. I would suggest applying several thin layers of plasti-dip for 1) to build up layers for easy removal later and 2) to build up layers for smoother texture. I do not suggest spraying on a windy day; that will cause it to leave a rough texture - happened to me while spraying another part of my car. Fortunately, the next day after work, I peeled off the rough dip and sprayed it again, w/o wind, and it came out perfect.
I didn't notice if you have a sedan or coupe, but for sedans, the top trim pops off easy (start in the middle and carefully work your way down). As for the bottom trim, I removed mine and it was a PITA to re-insert. Next time I'll just tape it off and spray while on the car.
