Carbon wrap
Can anyone tell me how many square feet do i need to wrap the interior of a 2009 335 sedan.
front rear door trims, center console, pretty much all the aluminum area. The store sells it by square foot and i would greatly appreciate if someone tells me how much i need. Thank you |

2 sq yards, google should be able to convert it for you.
1 sq yard if you're really good and cut everything in the right shape.

ok, comes about 18 sq.feet.
I have seen black carbon wrap interior and i like it but it makes the car too dark inside if everything else is dark. is there such thing as silver carbon fiber wrap and what is the best place to buy? Thank you. |

I buy EVERYTHING off amazon... most of the time.
Also get 1080 not Di-Noc (two types from 3m.) I have both on my car because the previous owner wrapped the grill in di-noc. I had to fix it because it had wrinkles and it was 100x harder than 1080 to work with.

I think I recall seeing someones interior with silver. Try searching the DIY threads and and maybe the photo section.

I am literally doing this tonight on my 2010 E90 - I ordered silver carbon DI-NOC from metrorestyling. I bought 12sqft (3x4) and it appears to be plenty. I have the dash and most of the doors done so far - looks AWESOME IMHO. I'll post up some pics when I'm done.

i got 48x68 since i have the sedan and it's my first time using vinyl so i wanted to be on the safe side. I did all my door's and this weekend i'm finishing up the rest of the trim. It looks like i will have a bit leftover but it's better to have some left over than needing to order more

I have a 335i Coupe, do you know how much it would cost for me to install it on my silver trim interior?

Quick look at the 3M DI-NOC Carbon Silver wrap that I did on my 2010 E90 black on black with the original wood trim. All in all, I'm very happy - it was quite a bit easier to remove the trim than I thought. It was also easier to apply the vinyl than I thought - liberal use of a hair dryer made it super simple. The only issue I ran in to was I somehow tore/cut a small spot on the vinyl, but it ended up being in an inconspicuous spot.
I would highly recommend this to anyone who wants a change in the look of their interior. -Rich PS - sorry for the terrible iPhone pics. |

The 1080 is like a sticker. I listen to a few on here to used the superglue on the inside, but I think that is over doinging. If I would do it again, i'm not going to sued the superglue
