Just installed GP Thunder 8500k....

So i just finished installing the GP Thunder 8500K H8 bulbs for my halos. Everything was easy to plug back in and re-install into the housing. The only thing that I am confused about is how dull and not as bright the bulbs are. Its still daytime but when the stock bulbs were in, I could clearly see both rings lite up during the day. With the GPs I can only see the inner rings during the day. Can someone tell me if this is normal for the new bulbs? I will wait for nightfall to take some pics. Thanks Mike.

I think I read it in the forum that a couple of ppl had the same problem and returned back to stock. They are simply whiter but not as bright on day time.

Ok, good to know that everything is normal. I can deffinetly notice that there is zero yellow in the new bulbs which is what I was looking for. As long as they are brighter and whiter/bluer in the night time, im keeping them in. Thanks Mike.

So I wanted to get an idea of what the lights will look like in the night time so I put the car in my garage and shut the garage door and made it dark as possible. The inner rings look amazing, but the outer rings are like barley lite and very dull but they are better than stock so im happy overall. Mike.

Swap them out for MTEC Super White HID bulbs like I have...they're "super white" (not blue), they come very close to matching the stock HID headlights, and they're very bright (much brighter than the GP Thunder bulbs).

Here's a guy selling his...

Thanks for the opinion, but I was just ouside (8:15 p.m.) and I couldnt be happier with the lights. I dont care if I cant see the lights during the daytime, thats what the sun is for, to make the light for me. I have another question, how do I get rid of the nasty big block of orange just outside of the outer halo rings. Mike.
