Folks, are ya depressed yet?
Over five thousand years ago, Moses said to the children of Israel, "Pick up your shovels, mount your asses and camels, and I will lead you to the Promised Land."
Nearly 75 years ago, (when Welfare was first introduced) Roosevelt said, "Lay down your shovels, sit on your asses, and light up a Camel, this is the Promised Land." Today, Congress has stolen your shovel, taxed your asses, raised the price of Camels and mortgaged the Promised Land! Now, in Canada, we can only retire at 67, not 65. The government officials have got the really big bucks in their pockets and they can retire at 55 with a full pension while the tax payers, that’s us, slave for pennies, and they're even getting rid of them soon, go figure. I was so depressed last night what with all my thinking about the economy, the wars, lost jobs, savings, Social Security, retirement funds, etc... I called a Suicide Hotline. I had to press 3 for English. I was connected to a call center in Pakistan. I told them I was suicidal. They got excited and asked if I could drive a truck... Of course I told them I drive an M3 and once I said that felt a lot better at once Cheers ... Have a wonderful day / evening

Nah I agree. The world is pretty terrible. People are pretty terrible. I hate people. We have a civilization that can split atoms, travel to space, manipulate genetic... and we still kill each other and fight at the drop of a hat. We still steal from others no matter our own personal wealth (it's never enough), and we still jump on making others miserable whenever it suits us. We're a fucking disgrace as a species. If any intelligent aliens actually found us, I have no doubt they'd exterminate us once they realized our nature. Fuck humanity. Just enjoy your BMW. Take solace in the little things in life. You only have one chance to live a pleasant life, so make the most of it.

is this referencing a social security type of program? it blows my mind that people rely on that to retire.

I'm less worried about money since even without it, the Government still supports you. I, however, hate the lack of Darwinism in our society. Let's just say I don't like the "darker" members of society getting equal rights to make streets dangerous to walk in, to have more crime, have me have an alarm in my car and in the house and pay extra for insurance to cover theft, murders, etc. Government can only do so much to fuck you, it's the people that you should be more worried about.
Since you're in Canada, you haven't met this level of FUCKED yet so... could always be worse. Also, you have health care. Try getting a heart attack here and leaving the hospital without a $100,000 bill. Free M5 to them for your misfortune. |

SURE AM!!
This overgrown piece of shit- the nation's largest creditor, debtor, lender, employer, consumer, contractor, grantor, property owner, tenant, insurer, health-care provider, and pension guarantor, (AKA The Federal Government) is ruining our country piece by piece. And some people still maintain that it's scope of power/regulation is not large enough. Its funny. Generally speaking, the individuals that feel this way also feel that everyone fucking owes them something, that it is the job of the government to provide to them all sorts of little fucking goodies. /endrant |

I just get mad when uncle sam takes $500 out of my weekly paycheck then turns around and sends me an annual letter telling me that when I retire the social security funds will be exhausted and I will MAYBE recieve 75% back while current retirees recieve %100.

Advise: Don't come here or you might end up killing yourself after all lol
Belgian vehicle registration tax for say an e60 M5 or porsche cayenne : 10000 €, yearly road tax : 2500 euros, insurance all in : 2500 euros, vwpower : 1.7€ / liter = about 120 € per fill up if you have a 70l tank (e60's is 60ish I think) Oh and registration tax isn't even a one time tax, if you buy a second hand one it applies AGAIN on the same vehicle -_- Another addition: if you register it on name of a business, you shall pay about 18000 from your private to your business account as "fee" for letting you drive it private. Seeing as how income taxes are about 50% that means you need to earn another 36000 out of the business first before it can go back in |

I don't think the 'fiscally weak' should be allowed to die, that's a little harsh... not everyone gets the same opportunities.

1. Someone said once, if they raise gas prices, we will bitch about it and then fucking pay it because we do not want to fight for rights to get it lowered.
