DRL to Angel Eyes CODING HELP

I have seen it on some 3 series that instead of the regular daytime lamps its the angel eyes that light up. Is it possible to do that with my car? I have an '09 328i sedan.

Oh and also I searched for how to replace the angel eye bulbs but couldn't really find anything with pictures. I am so used to the e46 that I can find anything on this car yet. Let me know if anyone knows how to get that done. Thanks in advance.

You can have it coded to do so. But the AE on your car will not be bright enough to be visible under most conditions in the day time.

Come to the coding subforum and read the big sticky. That should set you on your way.

Or just find a local coder to do it for you.

we have the special daeos harness that you can use for DRL angel eyes, or you can get it coded, but it depends on your model year

I vote Lux and have them coded to DRL.

Alternatively you could have them coded and also code the stock bulbs to up the voltage and get brighter. However Lux is a better way and doesn't strain the bulb or circuitry.

Forget extra harnesses and boxes. Code it and forget it.

I have some a set from VMotorsport.com, I got it from them at bimmerfest. They had given me the wrong pair so I am going to exchange them today for the LCI ones. Do you know where I can get them coded?

Not 100% familiar with cities in SoCal but if you're near LTBMW they can code them for you, or EAS.
