E93 custom subwoofer install
As many of your know (especially convert owners) it is impossible to find a premade subwoofer box that fits in the trunk with the top down.
I found someone to me a custom box here on long island. It is not fully complete as a trim piece still needs to be made on the front side (and also seal up the backside and actually mount it in place) The sub i am using right now is also temporary as my old sub (scosche realm 10") is getting replaced under warranty. I am using a technic harness (thanks BTW). i am pretty happy with it at the moment. the best part is i hardly lost any trunk space (about 10 inches shorter now). for those wondering. i have HID angel eyes but did 20% tint as they were way too bright they are 8000K.....they look green in the pictures but they are not green at all in person. they were crystal white with no tint....and the tint makes them a bit yellowish....so about 6000K with tints (color wise) |

It doesn't have the potential to work properly until you have sealed the front of the enclosure against the ski-pass opening. You need to make sure that no soundwaves from the front of the enclosure can enter the trunk. It's called "pressurizing" the cabin.

I have an e93 too and have really been wondering what to do as well for upgrading my sound. This setup of yours looks like a good place to start. Keep us posted as you finish it off!
