tail lights tint solutions?
I'm thinking to upgrade slightly the taillights on my car. I won't by blacklines unless taillights are broken, but I do think there is a possibility to improve stock ones to the point where they look almost as good.
Look at the pics.
What is the best way to achieve the exact look of that M3 tails? they are bloody perfect!

Are you sure? EAS used clearcoat spray I think. I don't want to end up with maroonish red, but basically i want to make red parts darker red and smoke the white triangles. I was thinking there is some masking involved - red parts done separately and white separately but I could be wrong...

Guess it depends on your level of commitment. Me personally? I smoked my tails, got sick of them, then ripped the film the hell off 2 months later. Not my thing. |

I think LAMINX is too dark for my taste and my main goal is to darken white bits, not so much the red. red just needs to be more "saturated" or whatever as I can see the orangish crap through on the top part.

![]() I've heard good things about VHT. This product is cool because you control how dark you'd like your tailights to be. If you want it to be slightly dark, don't apply as many coats. When it comes out of the can, it's not dark at all, you'll need to apply a lot of coats if you want it to be very dark. Be sure to pick up some clear coat too and apply many coats or it'll look very matte.
