Hey guys, I've been lurking around here for a while, finally pulled the trigger on a 2011 E92 and traded in my G35 coupe. It has some tasteful "mods" already so for now I'm thinking about an M3 spoiler and maybe M5 shift knob retrofit. Somewhere down the road after doing some more research on the N55 engine, I'll look into performance mods.

Looking forward to meeting the local crew.

I'm not sure where, those pics are from the ad, looks like fort lauderdale though.

Thoughts on the new ride vs. the old one?

Not a fan of G35/G37's...but man they really did perfect the exhaust note on those! lol

Seems a lot of G35/37 get into 335's.

Awesome color combo, one of my fav's

The old ride had a manual transmission and no navi/in-dash screen. The E92 is automatic and has iDrive (which is fantastic). Just these two things alone make a huge difference in the overall driving experience. Goes without saying, the 335 is better in performance, ride quality, and tech/idrive. A more fair comparison would be with the G37.

Thanks! I was debating between G37, A5, and E92. In pretty much every aspect, the E92 was on top of my list so it was an easy decision.

Where did you buy it? I saw the add for that exact car somewhere online before and thought it was funny they use my building's driveway to photograph there cars for sale. Do you live around there? Love the combo just picked up a BSM/CR a few weeks ago myself.

Got it from a car dealer in Fort Lauderdale. That's funny, they have some more cars photographed at the same location. This must be their go-to spot for photo shoots. Congrats on your new ride, m-sport looks so much nicer. Also love the bamboo anthracite trim, I might change mine from aluminum to that somewhere down the line.

Congrats on the upgrade! If you ever need a shop to do mechanical or paint let me know. I have both. Mr. D's Auto Repair and Mr. D's Auto Body. Both located by downtown Ft Lauderdale.

It's funny because i traded in my G37s coupe for my 335i. So where exactly in Fort Lauderdale do you live? Maybe are paths will cross at some point.
