I have a very promising business plan for a website that i am developing, but i am having some trouble setting up and understanding some of the basics of php/html.

I have the website laid out perfectly in my head (of course ), but i just need some help with DreamWeaver, as well as developing the website code.

I needed to build a website for my clothing company and used Drupal. I knew nothing going into it but found it to be very easy to use after a little playing around.

Beeing a graphic designer I'd like to say, that when your business is running and you have some money to spend you should invest in a professional website. I know it may not be cheap but it really helps a business to have a website designed and coded by professionals.

I understand it's not the most important thing tho, so I guess you should be ok with a self-made website at the beginning.

I worked for a very smart Director of Marketing for 2 years and he taught me a few things.

1. The art of art is to sell crappy art. Art cannot be quantified.
2. Art can only be quantified if Art drives business. Align Art with business.
3. Best design requires no design. Simple and direct.
4. Pretty pictures and colors do not make art.

Most importantly, #2-4 will not guarantee you great design or being the best artist, you can always be successful with #1 alone.
