Another limp mode question
So I got the half engine limp mode light again today (2nd time in a few months..). Happened doing a WOT run on the freeway. Is there a code stored when this happens and if so what can read it besides the dealer? Anything?

You need the bavarianTechnic Tool, BMS Canbus tool, or a tune that can read codes. Cobb AP, BMS Jb4, Vishnu PROcede. The code should be stored.
Sometimes a local auto parts store has a code reader but universal code readers cant access all codes. BMW sometimes stores shadow codes. |

Cool. Thanks, How much does the BT tool cost? I just bought the JB2 (N54 Stage 1), which is cool, but my friends were right... lol, I should have got at least the Stage 2... Cuz I'm addicted now....lol
