e92 Rear Center Trim Removal
Hi everyone,
I was browsing through on the internet but I can't found anything related to a removal of the center console trim of an e92. So...I decided to give it a try anyway I really hope that this could help some people on the forum out on doing this ![]() This DIY is just for reference and please DO IT AT YOUR OWN RISK in case you break it lol.... ![]() The removal is quite straight forward....here's the guide! TOOLS REQUIRED --T20 screw driver --Flat screw driver --A credit card or two? to protect the trim and the side wall... >>This is the trim i'm talking about... >>insert your flat screw driver in the middle and pry it up slowly ![]() >>Just a kind remember...there is a cable connect to it, so be careful ![]() ![]() >>Here is the clippers at the back, should give you an idea on where to pull.. >>we are going to remove the air duct first(the one connect with cable) ![]() >>Use your T20 screw driver! ![]() >>Another 4 screws to remove the ashtray! ![]() >>to remove the ashtray trim... there are diys out there...but here's the pic, i know its the front one, but I accidentally broke it when I was doing it... >>there should be a gap between the tray and the trim. The trim includes the wooden part+the plastic...so be careful, don't do it in a wrong way... ![]() ![]() DONE! ![]() ![]() any thoughts?
