What spacers? 18x8.5 18x9.5+35
I have a pre-lci 2008 e90 sedan and just recently picked up some 18x8.5+35 and 18x9.5+35 rims. Im running 235/40 on the fronts and 265/35 on the rears. What spacers should I run? Im going to install some ST Coilovers this weekend and will drop the car so there is no wheel gap and tuck maybe a little, I want the car to sit pretty flush. I was thinking of running 5mm in fronts and 10mm in rears, nothing too crazy? Let me know what you guys think. Also, I will be rolling fenders. Thanks.

Seems like a good solid fit. If you're looking for something more aggressive but not too crazy, a 5 front and 10 rear sounds about right.

12.5 front and back, here is a photo of my old car pre lci with 18x8.5 et30 and 9.5 et32 with 12.5mm spacers. if i would have bought coils instead of springs it would have been perfect but i was more interested in changing my sways and sus bushings. i wasnt sure either so i bought a set of 4 12.5 and four 5mm spacers and ended up using the 12's.

well i had 225 and 255, but if your doing coils you are going to need an allignment anyway, you may get alittle rubbing in the back but thats the price you pay.

the lip of the wheel stuck out past the fender, with the tire stretch the tread was in the wheelwell. i dont have the car anymore or i would take a photo of a straight edge from the ground across the rim and you would see that the straight edge would not touch the fender. your offsets are very close to what mine were, so much so that you will not be able to tell the difference with the naked eye. i would go with 15 all around at most, the difference between a 12 and 15 are unnoticeable. the way your car sits the front and back tires should look even, as in one is not sunk in further then the other, why wouldnt you want to put the same size spacers on both ends.

you also need to think that your tires are 5mm wider on the outside, if you run a 15mm spacer on the back with your offset of 35 they will be exactly like the photo but with beefier sidewalls which also depends on the tire brand i had hankook v12's. if i took all of the gap out of the wheel wells my tire would have been inside the fender and the rim would have been outside. with your wider tire you my have rubbing issues. as far as the front there is much more room in the wheel well, i doubt you will have any rubbing issues.

Yeah definitely, I want to get this right the first time so I dont need to deal with trial and error. I want the car to be pretty flush, and id rather not tuck. Ill probably go wider and take out the rubbing issues in the rears with more camber. I dont mind doing around -2 camber, dont want anything crazy though.

bmw325 stop misinforming people, first you suggest 15 and 20, which is what you would use to flush out stock wheels. now the op has aftermarket wheels that already sit where stock wheels would sit with those spacers, do the math the stock wheel specs are at the top of this page. if you add the aftermarket wheel widths and offsets plus the wider tires you will get the same numbers as stock wheels with 15 and 20mm spacers. next you make a comment about him not having to roll his front fenders, go outside and look at your front fenders, half is plastic and the other half is blocked by components inside the wheel well, you can not roll your front fenders. besides in the front the problem is inside the wheel well not the fender. as i have said, i have done allot of research on this exact topic. that combined with my experience on this exact car i made my recommendations, but it seems you are giving your ignorant opinion. so on behalf of those who seek knowledge and know how on this and other forums like it, thanks for your misguidance. that is all, good day to you sir.

The front fenders on an an e90 are not plastic. I knew op had aftermarket wheels I actually have 19x8.5et35 19x9.5et33 and the rear wheel is sunken in at least 5mm more than the front. And I said he wouldnt have to roll his fenders with a 5mm spacer. Just because my opinion is different than yours doesn't mean I am wrong.

FYI I have Rogue 15mm spacers & bolts for sale. They are the open window design so very light. Let me know if you're interested.

So I finally got my set up in and I feel like I want to go more aggressive. I bought 12mm for the fronts and 15mm for the rears so its now 18x8.5+23 and 18x9.5+20. Im considering getting either a 18/20mm on the rears and leaving the fronts with the 12mm or changing it to the 15mm. I am sure that with the 15mm front and 20mm rear I would need some camber though.
