They are quoting $6400 for 2 new turbos, chip, and complete exhaust. Seems like a deal, but I don't think it's for real.

Hell, supersprint is $8300 for just the exhaust

This is one of those mods that if you do it, you can't reverse it without spending a lot of money....unless you have the kills/knowledge to DIY...

I said it a long time ago. No tuner or aftermarket company will be able to offer any kind of turbo upgrades until they actually come up with some fuel upgrades first.

Having a 2900psi fuel system on our cars will make this task nothing but very difficult. Once we find a reliable and feasible upgrade fuel system with reliable fuel pump and bigger injectors then we can move into upgrade turbos.

I am not trying to be pesimistic but that is the way is going to be. As far is the turbo topic, well, I think we will be much better off having Forceperformance building us a bunch of turbo upgrade unit which means putting a couple of size bigger compressor wheels and still utilizing the existing turbo housing. This is my opinion the way to go until there is much more R&D on turbokits.

Why do you want to change the fuel system? We are after 500hp only. Not 700.

Having fuelling/ignition map together in the package with turbos is a must. RD can provide the map.

I agree, even if we could run just two more psi(16) at 6k rpm w/turboback and tune We would be well over 400whp, while maintaining a nice lag free driving experience.

The stock turbos will make 20psi @ 4500rpm. Don't ask how I know.

why stop at 500hp? if for no other reason do it for keeping the 335 from losing value sooner... for example look at how well the potentially +1500rwhp supras are still valued today.

but how hot is the air that's being forced in at that psi? that might be outside the efficiency range for the turbos.

At $6400 if you subtract the cost of the exhaust ~$1800 + $1400 for the Xede you are left with $3200 for a pair of turbos. Not too bad. However, anybody will be crazy to do this mod at less than 5000 miles.
