I have it and it works great like most intakes it won't gain a whole lot of hp I did feel the pick up was slightly better and car more responsive, it makes a beastly howl sounds sick!

Nice. Yeah, I don't really think it would add as much horsepower as it says, but if it gives a better ride, I'm down for it. Plus it doesn't hurt if it sounds great. Has it improved your mpg?

If anything put a panel filter in there. It's not really worth modding a 328 because you will spend thousands of dollars to pick up about 20HP.
If I were you I would get an exhaust to make it sound nice, then spend my money making it look great ![]() |

If you want to improve the sound of your car, you should probably start with your stock exhaust system.
I am not familiar with the available intakes for the n52, but i don't think you need to spend your money on a carbon fiber intake considering the current stock weight of the 328i. |

My BMW PI has improved my hwy milage by about 4mpg. Considering how much time i spend on the hwy it'll pay for itself within a couple of years.

noise restrictions, cost restrictions, CARB compliance, etc., might prevent such a thing from being standard equipment.
