Numbers look about right with the exception of the G37's ET.
14.1?
That was what the G35 did but with a trap speed of around 100.
With trap speeds of 102.5 the G37 should have ET's in the 13.7-13.8 range.
Maybe a bit tougher to launch.

I don't get why they think the G37 is better for the autobahn??

Thanks for scanning and posting this comparo article; it's nice to see countering data and opinion than what MT got. Not only did they get faster 0-60mph and 1/4 mi. times in the 335i (although MT said the 335i was a bit faster than the G37 as well), but they actually declared the 335i the winner in this comparo as it should be. Just like I've said all along, the Infiniti G35/37 is no doubt the best bang for your buck in this car category and comes very close to the performance of the the BMW 335i, but the 335i is a better car overall...and worth the extra $$, imho.

For the G37, Edmunds got braking 60 - 0 of 113 ft and 1/4mi 13.9 @ 102.8. I wonder how performance would compare, after buying mods with the price difference? I read a rumor where the 3.7L is the same engine (plus turbo) going into the 2008 GT-R "supercar". Needless to say, the G37 will have a huge aftermarket.

Both sound like great cars and both are. I'm digging the G37's internal 9.7 gb drive though.

Yeah ripping cd's directly to the cars stereo is damn cool, ranks right up there with BMW's USB port.

How do they figure the G37S for the Autobahn? Really doesn't make much sense to me.

You would think it would be the BMW for track and autobahn? The G37S for daily purposes?

it makes sense that the G35 would handle a little better. upper and lower A arms are FAR superior to Mcpherson, as far as handling is concerned. they ride crappier though.

SO in other words the 335i crushes the G37... Now that that is settled we can move on.

If you are going into mods, either car can be built all the way up full race cars. However, I think there is something to be said for a simple piggyback or chip to 400+HP, versus installing and tuning an entire turbo system!

Really? I'm not. My V. iPod has 80gb and is portable. Heck, even an iPhone can have 8gb and serve many more functions, ditto many other devices. And you can get portable microSD cards with 4GB each (are there 8gb available now?)

Personally, I think the internal HD is a waste.

wtf, last i checked, my dvd player didnt have "usb output"

you need video inputs to run that stuff... usb is good for serial control, serial device comm., and mass storage devices
