I am just selling my x5 3.0d sport and have done 10k in 3 yrs im also cautious as to spending £ for the sake of it any advise would be greatly appreciated ,i have read nav is a must ? the bmw salesman is a friend i got 8% of the new car and trade for my x5 any comments again are welcome ,I have wanted a e90 for some time and will be keeping it for 3 yrs so i want to get the spec about right thanks Paul

8%!, push for 14%, or at least 12%, which is readily availble from most dealerships

Hi,
The 325 and 330 are identicle. The only difference is that the 325 is de-tuned. I think that this is done electronically. As regards Sat Nav. If you can afford it then get it. Personally I think that it makes the interior more complete and it will help the residual value when you come to change it. The other option that is a must is the IPOD/MP3 connector (option code 6FL). Good luck and welcome to the forum.

Welcome scooba0010!
Is this not only true for the E93? My E92 325i is definitely a 2.5 litre engine, where as the 330i is a genuine 3.0i litre.

It's a diesel thing. The 325d is a detuned version of the 330d, though I don't know if it is limited to electronics, or perhaps a smaller turbo as well.
