Suggestions on 2nd Stage Upgrade
Looking for suggestions on what would be a good second stage audio upgrade. Running a 2011 E92 335i; it came with the base audio system which I immediately had to upgrade. So I went with a variation of the L7 upgrade, going with the MS-8, BSW Logic 7/HK speaker kit, and SWS-8s paired with a Rockford Fosgate P300-2. I got all the stock trim panels so everything looks like it's just a straight HK system.
Sounded good, but after rolling with it for almost a year I'm realizing I want more power, some actual midbass (sorry SWS-8) and a trunk sub. Still want to keep the stock look though. Any suggestions on amps? I'm probably going to go with the MusicarNW trunk sub and from what I've read it seems that the Jernherts are the way to go for the underseats. Any suggestions would be appreciated! |

If you go with the trunk sub you can use the L7 OEM woofers for midbass. They work great in that application and you will have very little benefit if you go with aftermarket midbass woofers.
