mtec side skirt install
Any one of you fine tristate folks care to help a brother out. I have oem sides to be installed on my e92. I would gladly pay for your services.
Thanks |

It's really easy with the right tools. I did my M3 sideskirts by myself - the install was even easier with a lift thanks to my boys at Real Auto Dynamics in Oceanside, NY.
You can do it on the ground as well, but getting the 8 torx screws out from below the car is a pain if you can't see what you're doing - I would AT LEAST jack the car up on stands. One thing to make sure is BEFORE you start popping the new skideskirt on, make sure the housings of the torx screws (they go into the under carriage) did not come loose when the OEM sideskirt was replaced. If they came loose, you'll know, because if you pull the black undercarriage they'll just fall out of it - so make sure to snap them back in place.

lol....I don't have a jackstand or the tools.
Plus you guys should know that it took me about 2.5 hours to install my headlight bulbs. I'll probably end up going to a local shop |

Yeah, I agree - not needed. Just makes it a little bit easier if you're a bigger guy. With the right tools, you can do it as fast at that video.
I did mine in 1 hour and that included getting an awesome cut on my thumb that I had to wash, stop the bleeding on, and wrap up. It's kinda difficult to work without a thumb btw. Hahaha.

We have the same car! So basically if you can't figure it out you should just give them to me! Good luck! It's fairly simple from the write-ups/videos though.
