Write-off Yes or No?

'07 335i with approx. 92,000 km

I would like opinions whether the damage looks like a write-off?

The engine has moved and alternator has been pushed back too. And at 92,000km they will total it most likely.

Thanks for the reply,

Is the engine and alternator noticeably pushed back? Or you are just assuming?

Doesn't look too bad. I doubt they'd write it off. It looks quite fixable actually.

I can't be 100% sure, but looking at the pictures, the alternator doesn't look straight for one and then the engine block also looks like it's moved a bit. Of course since the front bumper is so messed up it could be messing up my perspective, but I can't see how the engine wouldn't have suffered some type of hit considering the bumper/radiator/etc has been shoved back and is touching it now.

This was my first opinion. i think its totalled (hopefully).

Did you hit the back of a truck? The damage seems to be high up on the hood.

Keep the guesses coming!

I appreciate all your assumptions to the outcome.

I'll keep you all posted on the outcome in a few days after the adjuster makes his decision.

The vehicle that was hit was a RAV4. On the merging ramp I shoulder checked to see if any cars were coming. None were insight. I continued merging with the flow and the RAV4 stopped for no reason.
