Automatic Headlights?
Just took delivery of my Alpine White E91 SPort Plus. I'll post some pics up later
![]() Quick question about the lights though. I't doesn't appear to have the auto headlights I was expecting (my friends E91 M Sport Business has these). Quite surprised really. Does anybody know if these were meant to be a specified option? Springer |

AFAIK Auto lights are a standard feature from 325 models onward. |

If you have Auto lights they may be switched off - go into the menu system via iDrive (if you have it) & switch it on, I think it's Settings / Lights. You will also need to have the light switch in the "Auto" position ie the 10mins to position

That's it, I have no auto position but my mates M Sport does. Mine should have been an ever so slightly higher spec which is why I;m wondering if its actually an option. Can't seem to find it in the brochure either.
And yes, on iDrive there is only options for follow me home and internal lighting, flash on lock etc.... Very confusing! Springer |

Bugger. Just found them in the brochure. £95 just for the auto lights. Wish I'd seen it earlier. Rain sensing wipers are a pain IMO but lights I would have used :-(

crumbs, whatever did we do before them?
![]() used common sense i don't use the switch, just a pain in the bum, lights switch on under motorway bridges, trees, slight shadow. Too quick to come on, too slow to go off. |
