TRACK DAY (Wakefield) Thursday June 21st

DRIVER TRAINING & TRACK DAY EVENT

Thursday June 21

Tracked Racing in association with TRACK SCHOOL give you the opportunity not only to track your car on the purpose built Wakefield Parkway, but also receive instruction from experienced race car drivers.

Price: WAS $265, NOW $250

Private Performance road: 2.2km racing circuit.

Track amenities: Ample car parking, canteen, coffee shop, carports, lock-up pit lane garaging, tower and corporate area.

Price includes:

15 minute sessions
Lunch in raceway café/canteen
Experienced race drivers/instructors including John Boston, Ian Dyk, Dean Evans, Ben Porter and David Sieders (Instructors may vary on the day)
Theory sessions throughout the day for those who would like it

Group organisation
Drivers will be divided into groups according to speed and/or experience. There is a maximum of 4 groups, with no more than 12 cars in each group. This means more track time for you and less traffic.

Clothing requirements
Please wear closed in shoes, socks, long pants and long sleeve shirt. Bring a helmet (helmet hire is available).

Having never been to Wakefield, I hear there is a lot of run off area. Is much of it covered in grass? I know pcock likes to take off mid-lap to go do some gardening..

Yeh plenty of gardening ops, I think it's suited to smaller/lighter cars, being only 2.2k but fun all the same.
