**DIY** Cover front license plate hole
$30 BMW touch up with clear coat is worthed. I prefer finding my own screws to match the license plate hole rather than just paying $30 for a pair of painted screws.
Only $30. You can also use it to touch up the rock chips. Find yourself a little stand for the screws. Apply the touch up. Let it dry then apply the clear coat. Before: After: |

I paid $1.49(or less) for a set of 4 black plastic screws from Pep Boys......
Screw them on.....and that was it.

I can sand it down too, but just in case the cops look for trouble (touch wood) so I can remove the screw and put my plate back on.

^They don't. The dealerships drill them in because it is the law in California to have plates on front and back of the car. You can request the dealership not to pre drill, but not all will grant you that wish.

Also if they agree not to drill the hole, they will make you sign some documents.

Hmmm...gives me an idea. I'm going to go to a vinyl shop and ask them to give me two pieces of white vinyl to cover the holes, haha!
