Hi, looking for a little bit of help. Im looking at buying a 2007 335i vert @ Road Masters dealership in Queens, NY. Ive been looking for a couple months and Im pretty sure this is the one I want. The only problem is that I live in Madison, WI and wont be able to see the car. Has anyone worked with Road Masters before? Even better, if anyone would be willing to go take a look at it that would be even better! Any help would be appreciated. Also, any tips on negotiating from long distance would be grea too. Car's overpriced & the dealer is shady.... I'd say look somewhere else, I would never buy a car w/o driving it & the last thing you want to do is buy the car to only find out it needs major service.

Do you really think it's that overpriced? I've been looking for a while and haven't seen a convertable with these options yet for under $30k. Thanks for the info on the dealer. I looked up the CarFax and it's been in an accident which they didnt mention, and may possilby have frame damage. Looks like I may be steering clear of this one. And the search continues......

Was gonna say, if you're absolutely set on this one send it to a nearby BMW dealer for a pre-purchase inspection. There's no way an '07 Vert with over 50k mileage should be over $30k, ESPECIALLY if it's been in an accident. To put it in perspective, I picked up my '08 E90 (Sport Package, Premium Package & Comfort Package -- No NAV but Comfort Access) w/ 27k for $25k from a BMW Dealer.

Might not find exactly what you want, but you'll get the piece of mind knowing who the owner is, how they drove it & if any mods were installed on the car.

Yo, this place is a complete rippppppp offffffffff... 90% of their cars have been in accidents. And there customer service doesn't care about you once you've purchased the car!!!!!!!! Don't buy a car from this place. ESPECIALLY, if you're haven't seen & test drove the car...

The price is fair and you guys have no idea what a vert is going for these days. Although I agree its been in an accident so the price should reflect it and it does.

If the car was in perfect condition & had not been in an accident, sure ~$30k is very reasonable. But a car w/ possible frame damage should slash $5-$7k right off (if the car is even driveable).

Agreed. I found a private seller in CT and picked up my 08 335xi last week. AW with Saddle Brown, loaded, navi, sport package, winter package, 19 in VMR VB3s and stock rims with all season tires, 62k miles, and BMW extended premium warranty through 6/14 or 100k miles for $26k! Love it so far and thanks for everyone's help!

Awesome. Glad you didn't buy that hunk of junk from Road Masters.

Don't buy any car from an NYC dealer, everyone here is a crook. Even NYC private sales are no good (with the exception of some areas in Long Island), because our road conditions in the 5 boroughs are awful and the cars take tons of abuse and unreported damages.
