I need to replace one of my wood interior trim pieces and am not sure what kind of trim I have. It is either Burr Walnut, Poplar grain, or Walnut Root. They all kind of look the same. Here is a pic:

Any help is appreciated.

UPDATE: I dug around a little more and it would seem that it is Dark Burl Walnut, but would like a confirmation. Thanks.

I don't think that's dark burl. I'm certain dark burl walnut is what I have.

Bad iphone picts but you can see it is a lot darker than yours. And I'd say it looks even darker in person..... you kinda have to know what was available in your year. Maybe a light walnut?

I am not the original owner of the car so I have know way of knowing what the original trim was.

Definitely not poplar. It's actually called poplar gray, not poplar grain, and it is definitely gray, not at all like what you have.

If you're replacing one piece, pull it. It should have a part number on the back side. Otherwise you need to find out what trim options were available in your build year for your model. It will be obvious once you figure that out.
