Why would they not give their sports car traction control?

Given the target audience and the by and large lack of familiarity with RWD, I'd say the insurance is going to skyrocket, if it isn't already up there.

You guys make fun of it. But that car has LSD. Guess which car doesn't come with LSD?
It's a drivers car. The kid prob doesn't know how to drive period. I would love to get one. They seem fun as hell to drive.

The car was built to go around a curve sideways: LSD, quality 6 speed gear ratio, near 50:50 weight distribution, etc. The problem is that majority of the customers think b/c they can go sideways on their PS3, that they can do it in real life w/o any problems.
Unfortunately, there's no "Reset" button when you hit a light pole, tree or guard rail. |

how is a car with 200hp and 2800lbs built to go around a curve sideways?

For it to be a serious drift car, it's going to need a turbo or much bigger engine. Be interesting to see if Subaru gives it's the STI treatment. Edit: Just found out even if it gets the STI "upgrade", it won't come from the factory with a turbo. Time for aftermarket mods |

the point u are missing is actually the entire point of the car, is that its limits are relatively low, because they are easily accessible. dont get me wrong, lsd is fun and shit, but u really need to know not what you are doing to fuck that car up. but on the same tip, we drive 335s, which isnt exactly the pedestal from which to shit on other car platforms or their owners. ps id love to see where those primacy tires are also on a pruis, or what prius has 17 inch summer tires.

Looks & sounds like a great car -- Just feel like it's going to leave people hungry for more power & then people will start looking at the Hyundai Genesis Coupe w/ the turbo engine (~275 HP stock). Funny thing is, the JDM scene is gonna jump on this & some1s will do a 2JZ swap -- Just a matter of time.
Side note -- Hyundai 2.0T is good for 275 HP stock & the 3.8L V6 only gives 350 HP. Crank up the boost & you've saved ~9k for the same performance. |

i'd just chalk it up to the guy being a typical college aged jerko with his first "sports car". i'm sure someone who doesn't know how to drive, yet is more mature behind the wheel wouldn't have a problem taming this 200hp speed dragon. |
