2007 335i Throwing Cel P0090 (Please Help)

Hello all, I've owned my 335i for nearly a couple of months. It has around 34k miles and recently when I hit full throttle it throws a cel and when I turn the car off and back on it goes away. I've know that the codes are usually stored so I stopped by my local Auto zone to check the code and it was P0090. I purchased the extra warranty on the car but didn't want to take it in because I recently installed the BMS DCI and wanted to make sure it had nothing to do with my intake before I took it in and they make up some reason because I had an intake its not covered kindy of BS.

Is this a common problem or just something random? Would I have any issues taking it in with my intake installed?

Yeah, look up HPFP. There's a recall that will most likely cover it.

Most dealerships don't care about DCIs. But if you're worried about it, just swap back in the stock box. Should only take about 20 mins.

NP. My normal hourly rate is $300. You seem like a nice person so I'll reduce it to $150/hr.
