I think you are navigating through the command center, not switching maps . Give the office a call tomorrow when you have a minute or two free and we can talk you through it. But the engine needs to be running in order to switch maps. And to do so, simply push and hold (for 1 sec) the cc stalk up or down. It is possible that you inadvertently made some display/setup changes when you ran through the command center. But that's east to sort out over the phone.

If its switching maps properly through dtc then the unit works.
Engine on push the cruise control up and hold. Then push down to go lower maps. Never pull it, thats for command center(engine off) |

So I get the Map Switching Interface now as well as the Command Center, just operator error. Here is a much bigger issue:
Just set it to Map 0 and also tried Map 1, went for a ride....or tried to. My car is jerking.... badly, every 500rpm to the point I am afraid to go faster than 20mph. Was not doing this earlier today before the install. I know the guys at Vishnu will help me out tomorrow (they've been great) but I wanted to see if anyone here has seen this issue. Thanks! |

Then pop into the E-box and confirm your connections are all good. Use pin 8 on the green power plug, not pin 2. There should be no reason for such poor running unless it has a bad harness or box, damaged pin, or the power wire on pin 2 is acting up badly. If it still doesn't drive right, remove it and see what happens. If you still need help, I can help out after 6 Wed evening.
