I have been waiting for this movie since 2008. I would be seriously disappointed if this sequel is shitty. The Dark Knight already had a great plot, great characters and acters. I almost thought the movie was over when they caught the joker, then all of a sudden there's more and the movie isn't over. The joker was the biggest success in the movie and I think it will be hard to top that. But I have serious faith in Nolan.

i've been anticipating this movie ever since they announced it and i remember when production photos were popping up last summer, i was like a kid in a candy store.

this is obviously a rumor, but i've read that joseph gordon-levitt's character will be the next batman or at least in the end of the movie, take over the role of batman. there's one scene that they've shown in multiple trailers where batman is approaching a fire and it's kind of dark, and if you look closely, the mouth area doesn't really look like bale's

looks like he is an existing comic caharceter since 1993.....

sorry, i just never heard or seen this guy....not typical like the Joker, Riddler, Two Face, Catwoman, blah blah blah....

i think this movie is gonna break the Avenger's record....

So in the comics, Bane destroys Brunce Wayne's back. He is paralized and can no longer be Batman. Check the numerous trailers of TDKR. You see Christian Bale walking around with a cane. Why have joseph gordon levitt in the movie? What role can he possibly bring that is of such high importance?

This stems from Nolan's theme of Batman: being a legend, a symbol, something that cannot be destroyed. Bruce Wayne may fall, but Batman will always rise.

I have a strong feeling that JGL will be 'Azrael', Gotham's new savior.

Bane has got me really excited. This story will probably be more of a continuation of Batman Begins, not TDK. It's pretty much confirmed that the league of shadows will take over Gotham (I believe Niam Leeson will reprise his role and make a cameo in this movie). Bane is the leader to do just that... finish what Ras Al Guhl started.

I'm having nerdgasms just thinking about the movie and I can't wait to see it in theaters.

I think you're right, because according to IMDb Liam Neeson does make an appearance in this movie.

but Joseph Gordon-Levitt's name in the movie is John Blake and not Michael Lane. Some speculation that he might be Robin, but I think he will end up taking over as Batman in this movie.
