SOS Error
Hi All,
I've searched this before, and people are saying the TCU is malfunctioning. Maybe a firmware update will fix it. Dealership is charging me 275 for this update? I am under CPO and maintenance, I figured something free like a firmware update would be covered under CPO, doesn't really require new hardware. Anyone else being charged for this service? Basically, should I be charged for a firmware update on my I-drive to resolve an error? I am under CPO and maintenance. Last edited by hotwired78; 06-21-2012 at 03:17 PM.. |

Electronics problems are not a part of CPO.
Unless it's happening a lot, just keep your $275 and live with it. It happens maybe 2-3 times a year for me. I just reset the iDrive when it happens and continue along.
