Xenons and Cornering Lights ON at same time

On the pre-LCI E90 is there a way to illuminate the projector xenons AND cornering lamps while driving? Or can the car be coded to do this?

I was thinking about the same thing for the e92, especially when you can modify projectors for the cornering lights...

Pre-LCI E90 doesn't have cornering lights. You're talking about the halogen lights next to the grille right?

Those are your high beams. I dont think you want to be driving around with your high beams on all the time (and if you do I hope you're never behind me....).

I was messing around with coding trying to get bi-xenon flash to pass and I THINK I was able to make the high beam use the halogen all the time instead of bi-xenon when you push the turn signal stalk forward.

If you have a coding cable, mess around with the wert values for PWM_ANST_FL_BIXENON in FRM and see what you get. I forgot what combo made the high beam always use the halogen.

Just out of curiousity...why would you want the xenon NOT to act as the high beam when the headlights are on?? I don't get it

I wanted to make the xenon act as high beam even when the headlights WEREN'T on (ie for flash to pass).

But in messing around with coding, I found out it was possible to make it do it the other way (always halogen) instead of always xenon.

These are my daytime running lights too tho and not the high beam that comes on... and if I turn my parking lights on the halos light up as well.. so I guess its not possible with out some sort of electrical rewiring mod..

DRL is the high beam at reduced power on pre-LCI E90. I think what you want to do would require custom wiring with resistors.
