Horespower freaks gen2 exhaust

BIMMERPOST / Classifieds
Asking Price:
None

Item Interest
Hey guys moving into my new house in 30 days so I'm selling this exhaust, had it for a month awesome sounding and looks great. These exhaust are on back order again. Make me offer.

The HPF exhaust system is one of the highest flowing exhaust systems on the market for the BMW 335i with staggering 3.5" stainless steel piping and a 14" stainless steel high flow resonator. Simply installing the HPF exhaust and removing your factory 335i exhaust system will take 40 lbs off the weight of your car due to it's single large diameter pipe design. For those that have a wideband or want to get one, you won't need to own a welder and weld an O2 bung with this exhaust. Simply screw the wideband O2 sensor into our "pre-welded" O2 sensor bung. If you don't have a wideband don't worry, we ship the exhausts with a bung plug to seal the hole. The HPF 335i exhaust system is designed for the factory twin turbo cats all the way to our future single turbo upgrade which will be coming in the "very" near future. You won't ever need to buy another exhaust system. This exhaust will easily support the flow requirements to exceed 800rwhp. With 100% polished stainless steel and fully adjustable 3.5" titanium tips, give your 335i the look it deserves and a sound that turns heads. Think running without a muffler sounds loud? Check out the video below and see for yourself. There is minimal drone with the rubber isolated mounts and the sound is exotic.

Features •A Staggering 40 lbs weight savings (OEM Exhaust = 75 lbs, HPF Exhaust = 35 lbs)
•100% 304 Stainless Steel 3.5" Exhaust
•14" Stainless Steel High Flow Resonator
•3.5" Fully Adjustable Titanium Tips
•Super strong stainless V-Band flanges For easy installation and adjustment along with leak free operation
•Pre-Welded Stainless Steel Bung and Plug for Wideband Setups
•Fully Polished
•100% Mandrel Bends
•Flex Section
•Rubber Isolated Mounts
•Minimal exhaust movement due to triangular mounting method
•Minimal Drone
•Aggressive Styling with Large 3.5" Tips
•Exotic Exhaust Note

I just got it used from a seller, only put in like ~500mi.

Piping is beautiful, there is a dent near where the brace goes connecting the downpipe to the S pipe.

Haha well didn't you already buy this guys exhaust? The Gen II is supposed to have no rasp also... $1400 seems high for a custom straight pipe exhaust. I've heard people usually charge around $800 or so for stuff like that

yeah but this one is different slightly and how about go build one and you tell me how it sounds...its not the same...some r&d is required to get a good sounding exhaust and r&d is not free. ive heard a custom straight pipe with a resonator and sounded like crap mainly due to rasp...i hate rasp...my e46 m3 had it and is the main reason why i got rid of it.

didnt pay $1400 btw...but still i wouldnt mind trying out a titanium custom straight pipe...might sound better and if it in fact sounds a little off i could just get an aftermarket titanium muffler.

Yea very true. Hahah i'll happily go try one if you'll fund it . Right now i'm saving up for DP's and a FMIC to see if i like the car with just the downpipes. After that i'm either going with the VRSF exhaust or the HPF. When you do get it make sure to post up a video though cause i'm not the only one who wants to hear it with catless downpipes (http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=689014). Like you i also hate rasp so i have to see if the gen II rasps with catless downpipes.
